I agree with this wholeheartedly.

I loved Irene but she’s definitely not my favorite character ever. I feel ashamed to say this because if someone doesn’t say she was absolutely amazing, some jump to conclusions and make them appear like a conceited Johnlock shipper or accusing Moffat of sexism. The truth is, many have reasons not to like her. Whether it have to do with her connection with Moriarty or comparing the intention of the episode with it’s canon. 

The point is, characters are meant to be liked and disliked. Unless the person’s reasons are unfair, it’s no reason to shush them into a corner. 

Not that you all do this, but I see some doing it. 

Um, I’ll stop talking now, please don’t hate me for writing this.
